Lee's Summit Real Estate Overview

Composed of gently rolling prairie land 20 miles southeast of Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, is a progressive yet peaceful and family-oriented community dedicated to creating and maintaining a vibrant, livable city. Founded in 1865 as the Town of Strother, Lee’s Summit was the highest point on the railroad between Kansas City and St. Louis. Now Lee’s Summit is the sixth largest city in the state, with a population of more than 90,000.
